701 Don Mills Road Presentation by the Toronto Fire Department

On Wednesday, November 30th, 2011, the Toronto Fire Department will be stopping in at 701 Don Mills Road to make a special presentation regarding fire safety for high-rise apartment buildings. We invite our residents to come by to learn more about fire safety and the importance of apartment insurance.

The presentation will be given twice at two separate times for your convenience: once at 3:00pm and the other at 7:30pm. They will each be approximately half-an-hour in length and you are welcome to stick around for a while afterwards - refreshments will be available. The presentation will take place in one of the penthouse units at 701 Don Mills Road, Unit #2601. Elevator access to floor 26 will be unlocked for the afternoon of November 30th, so feel free to drop by - we hope to see you there!

UPDATE: Thanks to those who made it out to the 3:00pm session. It was very informative. For those who couldn't make it this afternoon,remember, we have another session starting this evening at 7:30pm. See you there!

Fall Harvest Decorating Contest 2011

We have a Winner!!! The winner of the McArthur Fall Harvest Decorating Contest is 100 York Gate Blvd. Great job team! Thank you everyone who voted!In October 2011, we ran a little competition for our employees at McArthur Properties. Each site was challenged to the task of decorating the lobbies with a Fall Harvest / Halloween theme. All of our staff participated across the GTA. We took photos at each site and posted the below photos for our residents, and the public, to vote on. The winning team (100 York Gate Blvd) gets bragging rights...until next year at least...

Welcome and Welcome Back – Fall Semester Students

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who made it out today for our McArthur’s Resident Appreciation Event. We wanted to say "Welcome and Welcome-Back" to all of our new and returning student residents, most of which are starting a fresh semester at Ryerson University or the University of Toronto. We had a great turn out and it was nice to see our residents heading out for a fresh semester, or work day, with a fresh cup of coffee, donut, and a smile on your faces...even the mailman.

Watoto Children's Choir Special Performance

The Watoto Children's Choir gave a special performance at 701 Don Mills Road in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. McArthur Properties, the property management company of The Citadel apartments, were given special thanks by the Watoto Children's Choir for donations to their cause. Video of their performance is available on YouTube. Residents and staff of 701 Don Mills Road really enjoyed the hour of song and dance.

They also presented us with this special hand made and dyed canvas which now hangs prominently in our head office. Thanks Watoto - it's a great cause and we're glad to help!
